Ambrose… “No duty is more urgent than returning thanks.” This quote has a very broad perspective when considered literally. We are in constant contact with people to whom we owe gratitude. Starting with the people around us daily that make life pleasant. A stranger holds the door for the delivery person, or picks up a bundle dropped by a mother leaving the store with more concern for their child than the package they carry. On and on this scenario can go… but there are also some really big ones that can slip our mind. Like the friend and accountability partner that holds you to the standards you set for yourself. The spouse that loves you before you comb your hair and brush your teeth. The parent that buys you what you want, instead of something they need. What about those who encourage you at school or motivate you at work. Those who challenge you to be your best, then walk with you through the process.
