America exonerates authority figures for blatant evil. America is starting a war on the homeless. America has been (until China overtook us) the consumerism capital of the world. America has been in constant state of War for 13 years. America has some of the worst internet connections in the entire world due to government deals with service providers. America is swiftly headed to one of the widest gaps between rich and poor in first world countries. Americans are some of the least healthy people in the world. Americans are underinsured, under paid, and over stimulated to the point where education scores have marked as some of the worlds worst. America clocks in at 40% of the worlds military spending. It leads the entire earth in warmongering, with more operations and bases than anyone else. I see patriots all around me, defending our country and its Christian background and upbringing. I am flabbergasted that people are holding on to our country over our Savior. Jesus speaks a different message than our media, a different message than our politicians, and if our pastors stand for American greatness over Gods will, then our pastors too. Nothing is more powerful or more important the the will of God and His statutes. So when the country we support goes to kill, I must disagree. When it outlaws helping those in need, I must disagree. When it allows authority figures to maim or kill unarmed citizens without justice, I must disagree. When it encourages and forces consumerism and materialism down our throats, I must disagree. When it limits education to the lower classes while keeping it for the wealthy elite, I must disagree. When it passes Homeland Security and the Patriot Act and never takes it away (Wherein I could be reported by my neighbor as a terrorist for practicing my faith and could be imprisoned. All it takes is one twist of the perspective on terrorism) I must disagree. I am not a member of this game. I am, and have a long time felt this way, not an American. I am a follower of Christ who resides in an evil country that doesnt love Him. Even what Ive mentioned here doesnt scratch the surface of our many ills and violations of Christs teachings. I pray for my leaders to come to Jesus and for our country to support Gods will, but I havent voted in a long time. Not sure I will unless I know Im not picking the lesser if two evils. I figured that with elections coming around the corner for the primaries, I would post this video too. This man works for FoxNews and for a little while had his own show.
