The Supreme Court just codified a new era of political corruption via todays McCutcheon vs. FEC ruling. If you thought Citizens United was bad, that was nothing. Now the wealthiest US citizens can DIRECTLY pour up to six million dollars into federal campaigns in each election cycle -- buying unparalleled personal influence in Washington and drowning out the voices of you and me. Regardless of your fave cause, nothing is more important than this, because this influences absolutely EV. ER. Y. THING., including climate change action/inaction. Yes, Virginia, in the US we DO live in an oligarchy and not a democracy. You think your $50 will make a difference, will get your voice heard?
