American, 3 Nigerians rescued from kidnappers in Port Harcourt THE police in Rivers State, on Thursday evening, rescued four people, one American-Nigerian and three Nigerians from kidnappers in Port Harcourt. The Commissioner of Police, Mr Dan Bature, who disclosed this to journalists, said the four persons were kidnapped in two different incidents. He said the American-Nigerian, Donald Iwuagu, was lured through Facebook by an impostor who, using the name of Governor Liyel Imoke of Cross River State, promised to help him realise his political ambition. “The Rivers State police command wishes to inform members of the public of its continued determination to smoke out kidnappers, cultists and armed robbers from the state.”
