American Horror Story fans, Im sure you noticed the Life magazine cover that was the closing shot of last nights episode. Well, I produced it! One of our clients at the printing company I work for is Brightstar Fox, and weve been producing printed props for the show (which as most of you probably know, is filmed primarily here in the N.O. area) throughout this season. Most of it has been fake magazines, sheet music and album labels that have been shown on screen quickly or peripherally, but last nights closer was a good, long close-up of my work. They had given us a couple of actual Life magazines from 1960 and artwork to produce a fake cover which I personally handled and stitched to the outside of the existing magazine for them. Quite a thrill to see my work prominently shown on my favorite TV show!
