American Postal Workers in Buffalo and across the country rallied today to send a message: “Stop Delaying America’s Mail.” Eighty-two mail processing plants are scheduled to either close or be consolidated in January. Today on the House floor I urged the Postal Service Board of Governors to reverse course and maintain service standards that uphold the trademark reputation of the US Postal Service.
