Americans are suffering from a scotoma, a blind spot in our field of vision when it comes to looking at ourselves. In order to become the greatest country in the world, we need to take an honest look at ourselves. See our problems, look at the real causes, and develop meaningful solutions. Then we need to act on those solutions. The middle class has become what Sal Alinsky referred to as the have a little want mores. They side with the top 1% against the poor in hopes that they will get a little more.. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. We need to become the country that takes care of its weakest link, making it healthier and stronger so that we will become the greatest country in the world.
