Americans can be such swine! In Watertown, theres a small dam on the Charles River, and a footbridge over the pond like barrier that builds up behind it...it is a lovely spo, on Charles Audoban Conservation Land. But looking down into the river you see where people have thrown: bicycles. Shopping carts. TVs. Microwave Ovens. Furniture. Everywhere within a 20 mile radius of boston you see: stryfoam dunking donut cups (the most popular brand of litter, I think). I ride my bike all over in the country side west and north of boston. And am always disgusted to see, while riding on a road through the woods: bags of garbage that people have thrown out (amongst the broken beer bottles). Why cant they put their garbage out on trash collection day? Of theyre going to bother to put it in their car, why not take it to the dump? Why would you throw a TV away on a street? Like I was saying, americans can be such swine...or, humans can, depending on how you like at it.
