"Americans trust the tracking of their Internet and phone activities by the companies they do business with . . ." REALLY? I read this today in an article about the revelations concerning what the gov is watching (everything all the time) which came about over the last few days. I have been saying for awhile that it was possible for the government to both watch everything and nothing technically by saving data but not looking at it and wala, here are the revelations. Then the article says the above line and I am dumbstruck, because I sure as hell DO NOT TRUST CORPORATIONS with all that data either, in fact I feel rather robbed of it by modern circumstance. Does anyone feel "Trust" of all their data being in the hands of the corporations so they know better how to market to you? That same thing could be written, "this data has been collected so that we might better exploit you." I would rather no one had it thanks.
