Amidst the bustling streets of Geylang and the last minute chores - TopicsExpress

Amidst the bustling streets of Geylang and the last minute chores were finishing up, try to take some time off tonight and increase our ibadah to Allah s.w.t. Ramadhan may have left us, but whatever acts of worship we did should remain constant, if not better, till we meet the next Ramadhan InsyaAllah. Did you know, Rasulullah s.a.w. would not sleep in the night preceding Eidulfitr? During this night, named in a hadith as the Night of Reward (Lailatul Jaiza), Allah bestows His rewards on those who have spent the month of Ramadan abiding by the dictates of Shariah, and all their prayers in this night are accepted InsyaAllah. Rasulullah s.a.w also mentioned: Whoever stands up (in worship) in the nights preceding the two Eids, sincerely for his Lord, his heart will not die when the other hearts (of the kuffar) will die. [Ibn Majah] We are most blessed to be able to celebrate Eid joyously and in peace. Why not take some time to raise our hands and make dua for our fellow Muslims across the globe, especially those in Palestine, Syria, Iraq and Myanmar. May Allah grant them strength through all that they have been going through. May all our ibadah throughout the month of Ramadhan, and for the rest of this lifetime, be accepted, insyaAllah. TaqabbalAllahu Minna wa Minkum Eid Mubarak to all.
