Amnesty 1986.......... -Required employers to attest to citizenship of employees. -Made it illegal to knowingly hire illegals. *Leagalized some seasonal immigrants. *Leagalized those who entered the states before Jan 1982. -Increased border security. -Increased law enforcement of current laws. Yeah....that worked well. A bunch of laws never enforced or funded. A bunch of assurances never done. Now were being told the same thing all over again.
