Amosun Violating Civil Service Rules and Regulations. The Governor of Ogun state, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has again violated the civil service rules and regulations by involving civil servants in the state in politics. As stated in the civil service rules and regulations, any officer under the employment of the state government who involves himself in politics risks losing his job but the governor who recently started his campaign for a re run election in the state by visiting the local government areas to seek for peoples support has been seen going about with hundreds of civil servants drawn from all the ministries, government agencies and parastatals in the state. According to a source close to the governors office, reports from the twenty local government areas of the state shows that people are tired of the Governor Ibikunle Amosun led government and as a result have vowed not to attend his political campaign rallies but the governor in a bid to save himself from any embarrassment that could emanate from poor attendance of the people at his political rallies mandated the Commissioners and Heads of all Government Agencies and Parastatals in the state to ensure minimum of 10 staffers under them join his train to all the local government areas on what he called an assessment tour . Also, civil servants at each of the local government areas visited were mandated to join them as they arrive their local governments. It is worth of note that despite this, the turn out of the people at Imeko Afon, Odeda, Ogun Waterside and Remo North local governments visited so far by the governor was not impressive as the people are hell bent on voting him out of office come 2015.
