Amy: Hello hello everyone who comes here and everything. Today we have a little how to do thing and this is something that Punk thought could be a little interesting to some on this matter for thous who actually know my twin sister Lia rather well. Or if you just see Lia here and there when she does make an appearance. Well a lot of you guys know that Lias style isnt something most would see in today society however it is a real style carried out by more woman who are more into the older gothic look or woman who care for a more type of older Victorian look. You guessed it, it be Lias choice in wearing corsets. But since Lia wears them she should tell you more about them for a small history lesson for today hehe here she is. Lia: Yeah okay. Anyway corsets were to in away, reshape a womans body to get technical. A lot of the Victorian woman of the time wanted the smaller waist and everything like that for a more noticeable hourglass figure. However the term corset didnt come into effect until the 19th century. Corsets have been around for a very, very long time and as one could know that they have come a very long way. I think a lot of people think corsets are very hard as if they look to be made out of a thick bored like material or whatever but they actually arent. They are made out of cloth the ridges in them that help the shaping of it are made out of metal however they use to be made out of whale bone which is now not available today. There are many different styles of them and one of the styles that I wear a lot of the time are called undercuts and thous are the ones that dont go over the breast but look like some funky big belt type of thing. There are the full body corset but they are more constricting in movement which is why I wear undercuts a lot of the time as seen in drawings here. Anyway this video is a small something in how a woman would lace up her corset on her own so this is what I do a lot of the time of my mornings when I get dressed. Also a small side note, corsets arent all for woman there are actual corsets for men, its rare but it has been known that men have worn corsets under their shirts and one of these reason is for their back if they have a miss spine alinement. Also more full body corsets help keep you up so if ya slouch or hunch over a lot, thous corsets would help ya stay up and keep your posture. Anyway Ill stop talking and enjoy this video. youtube/watch?v=cZKlPnLZ1m0
