An Act of Parliament can erase the doubt...simple. Its about time we has a Crown Prosecution Service...something Ive been advocating for; however, I disagree with the approach that AG is planning use...by incorporating police prosecutors. I still think that the police should not be involved in prosecuting...in this context, they should only be investigating and extrapolating evidence. Time to utilise many of the young lawyers who are interested in criminal law and appoint them as prosecutors in the lower courts...making them work along with for we police prosecutors who can serve as prosecutorial officer. A central office should also be set up to ensure uniformity in policy and efficiency.
