An Albany NWS storm survey team has confirmed that an EF1 tornado (Max winds of 90 mph) touched down in Dalton, MA, 1 mile ENE of Yankee Orchards in Berkshire County at 4:55pm on Sunday. Path length of 1/4 mile, width 20 yards. The tornado touched down in Greenridge Park along So. St. moving SE up a hill ending behind some homes damaging trees. A microburst caused the majority of the wind damage in the subdivisions to the north, west, and SW of the tornado track with damage again mostly to trees.
