An Answer To One of Lifes Biggest Questions, could be found by a child on the banks of a creek. What are we designed to eat? Thats a big question. To answer that question, we need to know what our ancestors have been eating and what our fellow creatures live on. Theres a lot of questions to be answered, but some of the answers might be found in a creek by your young son. In the picture is a stone spearhead that my son found when he was a kid. We were all out, as a family, looking for interesting rocks and fossils in a local creek bed, when he said, “Dad, look at this!!” To give you some idea of how big it is, I had it pictured in the palm of a womans hand. The other picture shows the spearhead and a few other arrowheads my son has from different occasions. Why would these have anything to do with “Butter” making your pants fall off? They illustrate that the answer to what our natural diet should be, might not be that hard to figure out. What mankind has been eating down through history is the answer to what suits us best for health. Early man was a meat eater, they had to be, because they had to be able to eat a meal that was higher in calories than the calories it took to gather the meal itself. The Native American who left that spearhead behind, here in Tennessee, spent a lot of time making it. His life and the life of his family depended on the food that tool would help him bring home. They didnt have a grocery store and high calorie snacks. The best source of food was high calorie animals they hunted and killed. Did the Native Americans raise crops? Yes, many of them did, but they also hunted and the stone tools prove that beyond a doubt. No fancy research study needed Whoever made this beautiful spear, we know one thing for sure, they were not hunting corn with it. They were hunting meat or fish. Ive not been posting a lot lately, but I have been working very hard on a project that I will be adding to my website little by little in the near future. Ive put up a section on my buttermakesyourpantsfalloff website called “Fat – Natures Universal Nutrition” buttermakesyourpantsfalloff/category/fat-natures-fuel/ I want this to be a resource we can send people to, when they say fat will kill you, or vegetarianism is the diet most animals live on, or man is designed to be a vegetarian. A resource that educates people about the universal role of fat as the nutritional source of fuel throughout nature and in human history. Some of the articles will be scientific studies, but many of them will be articles like this, or articles about traditional foods, or your own stories about what you feed your pets. “Fat – Natures Universal Nutrition” will have articles, links, pictures and videos that highlight the fact that all mammals actually live on the nutrition of a high fat diet. It has subcategories for certain topics like: Traditional Diets and Foods Fat in Historical and Religious Documents Archeological and Anthropological Research Animal Diet Studies It will also have articles that highlight the historical and traditional diets of humans throughout time. With an special emphasis on ways people have concentrated fat in forms like butter, olive oil and other traditional forms of concentrated fat. I need your help for this project. Just like I have the picture of the arrowheads and spearhead, you also have things like that. You have traditions in your culture that illustrate the respect people had for the right type of diet down through the ages. Traditions are the way people preserve knowledge. I want to have an online collection for this information, links all in one place. When you see an article that will give light on the fact that “Fat – Natures Universal Nutrition” share it with me. As you see the types of articles I put in that section, you will see what Im looking for. But if your information doesnt fit those types perfectly, send it to me anyway. We all learn from each other. Since this page and my videos have a worldwide audience, I want to tap into that knowledge, some of you are from very different cultures and have knowledge of foods and recipes handed down for generations that we can learn from. In my article “Butter, Mans Ancient Food”, buttermakesyourpantsfalloff/butter-mans-ancient-food/ I mentioned several traditional foods from Tibet, Morocco, and India that give you an idea of what Im looking for. It would be neat to have people share pictures and articles about traditional foods and meals their family eat now, or used to eat, and break those down to show the fat percentages and nutritional value of them. Pictures really help people understand, so if you are able, take pictures and make a list of ingredients. Another thing I want is your experiences changing your pets diet. With menus and recipes and strategies for doing that. Thanks in advance.
