An Evening Swim ~ One of the many photos I took while spending the evening hanging out with this beautiful group of White Pelicans. At this point the sun had started to get really low in the sky, creating some wonderful lighting. I was initially laying down on the elevated dock but I wasnt quite getting the perspective that I wanted. I looked all around for a spot along the shoreline but there was a bulkhead that prevented getting very low. I decided to slowly climb down off the dock and into the water. It was certainly not the easiest task to bend in half, hovering the camera slightly over the water, while trying to focus and keep somewhat level but I think it was worth it for this one.
