An Open Letter To Ogbeni Aregbesola, Governor of Osun State, - TopicsExpress

An Open Letter To Ogbeni Aregbesola, Governor of Osun State, Nigeria. Dear Governor, I have classified you as one of the few progressive Governors we presently have in Nigeria, based on the development that is going on in the state. I have also based my classification on you effort to sell positive message to the future of the country; the youth. However, Ogbeni Aregbesola, I do not want to believe that you are party to a replacement of an aged long educational institution with a business center; a Shop Rite, belonging to an individual. I do not want to believe you are placing the interest of an individual above the interest of the people you govern. This is not a characteristic of progressiveness. I find it difficult to associate this behavior with you. This step you are taking is not in the interest of the people in your constituency. I wish you can rescind this order and let Fakunle Comprehensive High School remains. As suggested by so many people who have reacted to your decision, Shop Rite can be given a virgin land to build its mall. It is not a progressive act to demolish an educational institution for a shopping mall. Once more, my dear Governor, please reconsider this matter, Thanks Sincerely Yours One of the indigenes in your governed area.
