An Open Letter to Davion Navar Henry Only Dear Davion, I just read about your impassioned plea for someone, anyone to adopt you. It took a lot of courage for you to open yourself up like that publicly and let people see your hurt and reveal your longings. I am proud of you for doing it and for speaking out to get what you need. I did a little checking and learned you have several couples interested in adopting you. If those fall through, please contact me because I want you. I want you to have the love you seek. I want you to learn more about how much God loves you. I want to hear your story. I want you to learn about healthy relationships and have strong people who will stand beside you. I would love to have you for a son. I would wrap my arms around you and tell you I love you and that I am sorry for the pain in your life and am in your court. Id love to share with you what God has done in my life and how He has helped me find peace, healing, and great joy. It sounds like many people have failed you along the way. Sadly, that is the way of people. Even people with the best of intentions fail others and cause them pain. Keep your eyes on the One Who will never fail you. Draw your strength from Him. Study His Word and apply it to your life. God has a plan for you, Davion Navar Henry Only. May you find it and fulfill it. You will either influence people, or they will influence you. Determine to be one who influences others for the glory of the Lord. Put Him first and others second. Focus on developing godly character. Get your education. Get that piece of paper from college, and let it open doors for you! God gave you a desire to make a change and a voice to implement it. You taking action to what God has placed on your heart has people talking about children in foster care. Keep watch. He may call you to speak out again in the future.
