An Open Message to black South Africans I am outraged at the corruption and lack of planning & investment I am witness to in our beloved country. We seem to be facing a new descrimination in South African Society..it is no longer apartheid..it is the descrimination our current leaders make on the civilized and educated minds of all South African people... We are facing a new oppression in South Africa..it is the lack of action from our current political party that is denying us the reliable services we so sorely need - this lack of action is now so dire it can be considered a form of oppression. We all know that building a healthy executive, legislative and judicial system requires careful planning, guidelines, ethics, competent people, decorum and leadership, a system of accountability & authority -- this is a necessary foundation to a healthy functioning society and thriving economy. Unfortunately these core elements do not currently exist or are only partially constructed. Our leaders are not effective because it appears they dont even comprehend what these concepts mean. If you dont understand the concepts, how can you execute a plan to achieve your vision? What I see are half-hearted attempts to build our infrastructure and address our social needs..all are a distraction from where our abundant resources truly need to go and where our priorities really need to be. Our country is blessed with many riches yet the resources that should be available are being squandered in places that make me embarrassed as a black South African! Let my word begin an era of awakening that will lead us to the betterment of our beloved country - I say this for all, regardless of colour, race or culture ...we are all blessed to be breathing this beautiful African air, and hear the song of the African bird as it resonates with all of us. It is time to hold our leaders accountable. Insist that they be educated in their areas of responsibility -- if they exhibit ineptness or corruption we should remove them swiftly. We must make logical decisions on creating building blocks for our rainbow nation..blaming the white man is counterproductive & foolish. Wanting and stealing what the white man has is deplorable. Dont you have enough pride to work for yourself and build your own nation? Free market and capitalism must be embraced. We must be forward thinking for the generations that will come. Do we really want to live a miserable existence like many of our sorrowful Afro-American brothers who cant take accountability for their own actions and dont understand that handouts result in laziness and decay of morals..and do not understand that fathers supporting their kids, hard work & education are what build pride & fulfillment --> not de-humaniizing rap music and gold-teeth bearing sport-stars, crime-glorification, and Rascist Quick-Triggering So the the responsibility squarely is placed on black South Africans to rise to the occasion and ensure we build ourselves a healthy society where hard work and education and good family morals can thrive. We should create a business model for our country that empowers everyone! All the support of the people in this beloved country is sorely needed - every colour, race and background..WE NEED YOU!!!! We must not let our country fall into RUINS like our brothers in African countries to the north..the whole world is convinced that will be our destiny..we must prove them wrong! Lets unite together as we build our economy, our educational system, rid ourselves of senseless violence, re-build an effective police service that can react quickly & firmly to eliminate crime & violence, and make this the free, safe & prosperous country it was meant to be... I pray that we may not faulter in this quest...
