An Osage Beach man is dead following a three-vehicle collision yesterday afternoon. Jason Kennedy, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second driver, Weldon Kennedy, 18, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and no drivers license in the case. *Editors Note: A previous version of this post said Weldon Kennedy was charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Jason Kennedy. The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrest report states Weldon Kennedy was charged with involuntary manslaughter, but the Camden County Prosecuting Attorney said his office is awaiting results from the crash site investigation and a toxicology report to determine whether to move forward with a manslaughter charge. At this time, Weldon Kennedy has not been charged with involuntary manslaughter. The story has been edited to reflect that.
