An alternative review - Java+ Another victim to the that stupid, rich and uneducated crowd of Ahmedabad. This place is fantastic. Its ambiance is cozy yet grand in its own capacity, giving you the feel of being in a Marriott yet in a cafe. The layout is decent where you enter and order your coffee. One of the nicer things is the way things are placed there.. those coffee beans cans hanging from the ceiling, the coffee machine, the syrups lined up and a plethora of branded beverages of different kinds along with the subtle lights are visually appealing. For a coffee lover, it is like kid entering a candy shop and wants to eat all of them. I have been there quite a few times now and I always order Black coffee with Ethiopian beans. I remember the first time I had this here before it actually opened. The quality and aroma are surreal. And you will have a lingering taste in your mouth after every sip. That taste is to die for. This coffee is rated at 250+ but you will never regret paying for it. The awesome smoking zone(made of heightened walls but open to sky) only adds to the experience for smokers,. And it is 24 hours open with free Wi-Fi, how great is that.. I visited this place again yesterday.. As soon as I entered, my expectations of a good coffee time went downhill. there was no place to sit, so I had my coffee just near the counter. But that was not the bad experience.. There were these young guys watching the match and screaming and yelling. There was no decency, no courtesy. They were ordering their beverages but it was full of fake adolescents who seemed as confused about their coffee as they are about their career. Most of them having redbull and 90% of them did not know Ethiopia is a country(seriously, i actually asked!!). Some of you may find this harsh but this is a serious problem every good place in Ahmedabad has had. I am sure we will soon hear about dispute events there(like we heard for escape, mocha, etc) and then it will become a taboo place to go. Many actual coffee goers will refrain from going there if this continues (and i think it will).. A place is good.. it attracts good crowd. Good crowd often includes good girls.. accompanied by good guys.. followed by bad guys.. so good girls go away, good guys go away.. and bad guys go away as they dont find good girls anymore.. And hence, the place gets emptier and eventually closes down..
