An amazing debate I watched last night from Melbourne, 2012. The topic is: Should Animals be off the Menu? It very much deviated into concerns about factory farming (which nobody seems to agree with, yet thats how most animals are kept and slaughtered). Everyone kinda agrees that if factory farms had glass walls nobody would eat meat. It also raised questions on veganism vs. vegetarianism, or whether all cultures should abandon using animals for food, or only those who have an ethical choice in the supermarket between meat and plant-foods that supply the same nutrition without the moral and health drawbacks.
