With Free Economic Pilot Zones law still undergoing with the readings in the legislator, Chang coming at this sensitive moment raises questions and doubts after meeting with Wang Yu-Chi this afternoon (Jun 25) upon earlier arrival just this morning. Many protesters and NGO are anti Black Box WANG-CHANG Meeting, for fear of trying to discuss many laws regarding Taiwan economy rights under the table, rather than discussing with Taiwan citizens. This morning, the Hotel reported to the police of a well-known lawyer, Lai Chun-Chian, and a few other guests who stayed there last night (Jun 24). The Hotel, including a French manager, along with the police tried to barge in with charges of them causing the accommodation safety to other guests, as well as roaming around in the hotel lobby, raising suspicion. When the Hotel managers kindly asked the guests, especially Mr Lai, to open the door for check up and were rejected, they lied about providing room services and barged through the door, asking the guests to leave instantly. (Please find the link below for further views from within Mr Lais room.) https://facebook/WatchOutTW/posts/313798975444989 After being broken through and being held hostage for almost 12 hours within the room without any food and water provided from the Hotel, Mr Lai and other guests could not help but try to send out their voices to the people with extremely weak Wi-Fi with self-filmed video as their press event in the room. Around 7:08pm, the guests were finally released from their rooms after the Chinese governor, Chang Chi-Ching, had safely left the place. The police insisted on taking them away from the Hotel with the patrol car once the guests had reached the lobby, and refused them to leave the front entrance on foot. Having witnessed all these in one day taking place in Taiwan, a country I keep telling and lying to myself is a free, independent, liberal, and justice hometown, I could not help but feel great shame and huge disappointment towards Taiwan government. President Ma takes no risk in trying to flatter China while mistreating us Taiwanese people. We have gathered all sorts of evidence in protecting us against the government, and at the same time, we strongly advice Novotel Hotel to send its most sincere apology in disregarding human rights with such shameful behaviors and using weak and lame excuses in proving them right.
