An article thats been on Matzav for a few days purports to have - TopicsExpress

An article thats been on Matzav for a few days purports to have the The Kidnapping Truth. The article has all kinds of details and pieces of information that seem to be known only to the author. There are no sources in the entire article. The only person mentioned in the article by name is Israel Aharoni who is either a famous (and dead) Zoologist or a foodie with a recipe blog. By my research, the author of the article, Dr. Julie Rogawski MD (family practitioner) has never written a single piece of journalism that can be located using Google. I havent seen corroboration from any reputable news sources for many of the facts in the article. Yet, there are people who are posting it on Facebook as if it was an investigative report by Walter Cronkite. It scares me that people trust this article. It scares me that people are posting this article. If you want news, the last place you go is to the charedi websites, and when you do go, you just assume that the real news is the opposite of what they are saying there. (The saving grace is that a few commenters on the Matzav post are wondering the same thing.) What happened to all that Jewish skepticism?!
