An artistic lady friend at church with whom we have had a parallel cancer journey (mine was breast and hers ovarian) has had tumors reappearing and thus more chemo and most of them r cancer and chemo is keeping them from spreading too much (inoperable) - I took her husband around the corner and asked what was going on inside her and he said the cancer is spreading, much of it inoperable but the chemo is keeping it somewhat fm growing and spreading but is only buying us a little more time -- the Drs say someone in her position has about 2 yrs and shes about at that point now I was flabgergasted, she appears to be doing rather well but- hopefully she will last thru her sons upcoming wedding (which she is doing a lot for!) next spring. So - one never knows - Thankfully and prayerfully thankfully, my treatment worked -- but -- something to keep in mind thru life is..... we are not guaranteed tomorrow...
