An attempted break in occurred this afternoon in Soutpans Avenue, Quellerina Whilst in the main bedroom, one of our clients was alerted to a sound coming from outside her home. Bravely, our client attempted to investigate the source of the noise -her finger snugly resting atop her panic button the entire time. Peering around a corner she identified the noisy troublemaker; a male suspect attempting to gain access to her home by forcing open a wooden door. Hed gained access by climbing over the palisade fencing. Our client immediately pressed her panic button to alert us. She then ran to her bedroom where she locked the door, closed the curtains and dialed into our control room. Having already received the panic signal, Reaction were already en-route when the call came in. Our controllers remained in contact with the client until Reaction arrived on scene 1minute later. The suspect, due to the sounding of the alarm, had fled into the surrounding green belt. Thankfully, the suspect never managed to gain access to the home and our client.
