An entire park transformed! #SFOTFrightFest We arrived at 5 pm to a very busy crowd. Despite the large crowds, we still had a great night! The park was clean, friendly, and the atmosphere was amazing! Shortly after arriving we purchased our season fright pass. A season fright pass offers unlimited visits to ALL haunted houses for the entire Fright Fest season for one incredibly low price of $25. After purchasing our passes we hung around the front gates for The Awakening. The Awakening features the transformation from a family friendly park, to an atmosphere thats not recommended for small children. During this time, monsters and zombies consumed the front entrance. I literally saw kids in TEARS while parents were trying to rush away from the area. That was funny! Lol! After that was over we made our way to the Southern Palace Theater, where Aranias Nightmare show was about to begin. This particular show just so happens to be one of my all time FAVORITE theme park shows. Its a MUST SEE! Arania, the Black Window Bride is in search of husband number 14! Will she find him? And will he survive? Or fall short like the 13 before? Find out!!! After the show we hit up our first haunted house of the night; Piggys Bloodshed. Very cool! Piggys is my favorite haunt at Fright Fest. Very well themed. Be careful though, they serve human flesh, and YOU could be their next victim! After Piggys we headed over to the ALL NEW Zombie Infestation haunt. Again, very well themed and features zombies everywhere. The only down fall was seeing 3 security guards clear as day, not in costume standing in the house. Other than that, it was great! After that haunt we took a snack break and then proceeded to the Oil Derrick tower, as it was open! I had never been up in the tower at night before, BEAUTIFUL! Nice cool breeze, and a birds eye view of the park below. Once we made our way back to earth the Cirkus Berzerkus 3D haunt was next! The house features 3D images and clowns everywhere! If you hate clowns, DONT ENTER! The house is also known as the BEST 3D haunt in the Southwest. It definitely deserved that title. Once we completed that haunt it was getting close to closing time, and the Dr. Fight show at the front gate is another MUST SEE! Right before the show I had my popcorn souvenir bucket refilled for only $.99! Of course after an initial purchase of $5.99. But what a deal! $.99 refills for the rest of the year! We had a perfect view for the show. I was shoveling popcorn down my throat and watching in awe lol. It really is a fun show, and a great way to end your Fright Fest night. We had so much fun. However, there was still a lot we didnt do. 2 haunts, and other shows that will have to wait until our next visit. Fright Fest also includes 3 FREE terrifying scare zones where monsters and zombies roam. There really is so much to see and do at Fright Fest. Keep in mind we had all this fun without riding a single ride! SFOT personnel; the park was amazing, the staff was great, and the atmosphere was awesome! Thanks for putting on such a thrilling event.
