An episode of : DIRTY JOBS This week (actually, it tooks us just 7 hours from start to finish) we did a metal plating company. They had a floor that another company had did that was failing (understatement of the year). We came in and resurface the floor with a urethane cement. After the tanks were removed you can see what is left of the floor. The floor is flooded with caustic soda that had eaten the last flooring attempt. We washed the caustic soda into trench drain. we then scrapped off the loose concrete and coating. we then neutralized the acid and washed again. then scarified the concrete and then washed again. we then vacuumed the remaining water and used a roofing torch to dry the floor. Then laid the new floor and WA-LA! A nice new floor!
