An estimated 7,000-10,000 female Kurdish fighters have taken up arms to ward off ISIS forces in Syria. The fighters belong to the Yekineyen Parastina Jin (YPJ), or Women’s Protection Units, an all-female, independent militia. YPJ fighter Dilar Gencxemis was immortalized on the internet last week after it was reported she killed 23 ISIS fighters by detonating herself as she ran towards them. But here in the US Tom Cotton doesnt feel American should have women soldiers on the frontline.....yeah ok.
