An example of how Lens flare can add to an image....this was taken in castle leslie estate last summer. I was trying to expose for the sun peeking through the trees....got the bit i wanted..but the down side can often be Lens flare this is where the suns rays bounce off the lens glass and are scattered hence the speckles! But in some in stances this can add depth and real life to an image. So next time you see it on the back screen....dont be so quick to delete!!
