An excerpt from Winning The Battle Against Depression by T.A. Rogers: I was in a deep dark cave of depression. Stumbling in the darkness...wallowing in self-pity. Why? Why Leslie? Why Curtis? Why not me? It should have been me! Life has no purpose...no meaning at all. Why are we here? I sat in my closet with an air rifle in hand, ready to pull the trigger. The voices in my head encouraged me to bring my suicidal plot to fruition, while resonating a homicidal plan of their own. However, I had no intention of taking any life other than my own.
