An excerpt from a letter I wrote to a young girl, 12 years old, "me" I was inspired by another woman who did this feat, in the form of an inspirational letter to herself. Dear Kathleen Marie, if this letter somehow reaches you, let it be a kind encouragement to inspire you for the coming years. I want to Assure you that Great Love will be the Heart of your Life. You will embrace Love: Taller than any mountain top, and deeper than all the oceans of the world. You will experience .ALL. that LOVE encompasses, far beyond your secret prayers, hope, and belief. You will Learn, the incredible JOY of giving, receiving, and being loved thoroughly! Let it be no surprise to you, that ..LOVE....requires...ALL. All your strength, and then some, all your prayers, and then some, all your tears, and then some. Laughter, patience, and God himself will be there to stand by you and with you, no matter the challenge, circumstance or event. God has wonderful blessings in store for you. An incredible journey of motherly bliss, exciting successes and what you will feel as failure or disappointment, aching regrets in your life. Dear one, do not fear the lessons of tears, for those precious tears, wept, or un-wept have -precious-lessons to teach you, to refine you, to define you. Be sure to fill your pockets with a good sense of humor, and a bold willingness to forgive. At times, life, and people are...always sure to surprise you, delight you, and sometimes deeply disappoint you. It is the natural nature: of life and people. If you choose to forgive, your heart will always be light. If you choose to resent? Your heart and shoulders will always feel quietly, and achingly heavy.
