An exciting live web chat event for parents of deaf children with Down’s Syndrome The Down’s Syndrome Association will be taking part in a live web chat in conjunction with National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS). The web chat will be hosted by the NDCS on Thursday 24th July 2014 at 7pm. The topic for this web chat is “Creating an Effective Listening Environment” and has been prompted by recent research into the impact of early hearing difficulties on children with Down’s syndrome. The web chat will last for 1 hour and there will be contributions from Vicki Kirwi, Amanda Hall and the DSA’s Gillian Bird.
