An important post regarding the SNP at Mays General Election(#GE2015): Another poll has just confirmed what numerous others have shown: the SNP are about to win their biggest ever share of votes at a Westminster election. They are predicted to defeat Labour, taking a large amount of their seats. However, several promising polls do not spell victory for the SNP. With five months to go to a general election, its impossible to accurately predict the result, and those who remember the 2011 Holyrood election will know that in less than two months, the SNP managed to turn around a 30 point Labour lead into an SNP majority; its possible, although unlikely, for Labour to do the same thing. We, as SNP supporters, urge you to do everything you can to help the independence movement in the run-up to the general election by getting involved with your local SNP branch- or even the Greens or the SSP. We have an amazing opportunity to send a majority of pro-independence MPs from Scotland, so lets not waste that opportunity because of overconfidence based on polls. From now on, every election is vital to the independence movement, especially this one. Dont let the media fool you into thinking we have this election won because were ahead with five months to go. So please, in the way you helped campaign for an independent Scotland, now campaign for your local Yes party and be part of the next stage in Scotlands journey to independence. Saor Alba
