An informational alert prepared by Fifth Freedom: Information courtesy of JustWalkers Reminder: $1,000 college scholarship for students who use mobility equipment Medical equipment supplier Just Walkers is offering a $1,000 college scholarship for students who use mobility devices. To enter, simply write a 600 word essay on the following prompt: Describe a time when you faced a major obstacle. What did you do and what did the experience teach you? The scholarship is open to college students with limited mobility who use a wheelchair, power scooter, crutches, or other mobility device on a regular basis. Students must be college undergraduate or graduate students with a minimum 3.0 GPA. To enter, email your essay along with your full name, contact information, school year, college acceptance letter or transcript, and physicians statement of diagnosis to scholarship@justwalkers before June 30, 2014.
