An innovative road paving technique was recently used in the Downers Grove Estates/Esterbrook neighborhood located near the southwest corner of 63rd and Main Street. This method of roadway reconstruction involves pulverizing the existing pavement, mixing it with cement and water and ultimately placing it back down as the base for the road. A layer of asphalt is then used on top to finish the job.
