An interesting concept, but costly and not all that efficient. The electrical output would be reduced substantially because of light blocked from: cars/trucks (think CA traffic jams), tree overhang, snow cover, and the density of the surface material reducing the sun transmission to the solarvac cells. This dude is demonstrating a lot of interesting benefits, but pure electrical output efficiency is really not one of them.
