An interesting outcome of the election petition, in my own humble opinion, would be for Nana Addo being declared the winner! To me it would be a chance to finally get rid of the mantra “THE WINNER TAKES ALL” Yes there is the opportunity that the NDC, having the majority in parliament, would simply block any efforts made by Nana Addo then, but on the other side I see it as a great opportunity to build an all-inclusive Government with the chance of bringing all different parties to the table and build a consensus on issues. It would be a chance to get away from those policies that all what the political opponent says must be condemned and voted against in parliament, no matter how good an idea at times might be! I would see it as a chance that for the 1st time in Ghana’s 4th Republic political parties would, at least to some extent, work together on issues, put ideas together and mould finally the best solution for the citizens of Ghana instead of chastising and bastardizing each other’s views. - - - - - - - - - - This Post is my personal view and anyone who wishes to comment may do so but restrain him/herself from any kind of insults!
