An interesting point about diesel fuel. All the big name gas stations around the country have their own detergent packages that they add to the fuel, either at the refinery/storage facility or at the individual stations, to keep your engine & fuel systems clean. Diesel fuel is a different critter. I think I even heard somewhere that it was illegal for stations/chains to add anything to it. So other than diesel, the only other things in your fuel are; chemicals added to keep the pipelines clean, water/condensation, and biologicals. Unfortunately none of that works to keep your fuel systems clean. No doubt some will argue below whether or not its needed. But I have found good results by at least occasionally treating my fuel. All the fuel treatments dont all do the same thing. Nor do they work equally well.
