An international organization in Bangladesh is looking for facilitators to work with Assessors from Trinity College London (India Office) in an upcoming English Language Competence Assessment Study. With a short-term contract the Facilitators’ responsibilities will include (but not limited to): • Providing field assistance to a Trinity Assessor for a maximum of 14-15 working days in November (Dates to be confirmed) • Assisting a Trinity Assessor with their accommodation (will be pre-booked) and daily living arrangements, including meals, as required. • Arranging and facilitating the organisation of assessment interviews with students in selected schools. • Maintaining regular communication with the project’s base office and dealing with any emerging situation in the field with central assistance The incumbents will be expected to stay and work at Upazila level in any Division of Bangladesh for approximately three weeks in November. Fieldwork will also involve extensive travel among Upazilas and divisions. In addition, there will be a pre-briefing session before the fieldwork and a debriefing after, both of which will be held in Dhaka. Good competence in English (particularly speaking and listening) is the foremost expectation from the candidates of this position. Organizational capability and inter-personal communication skills would be considered as an added advantage. A competitive remuneration along with TA/DA will be offered to the selected Facilitators.
