An investigation is underway after a fire damaged a construction site in Sydney’s north-west overnight. Emergency services were called to Solent Circuit at Bella Vista shortly after 7pm (Sunday 6 April 2014), responding to reports of a fire in a basement car park under construction. The site was evacuated without incident while Fire & Rescue NSW fire fighters worked to extinguish the blaze. There were 10 appliances on site. While the cause of the blaze is unknown, the fire is being treated as suspicious. A crime scene has been established and will be examined by specialist forensic officers later today.
