An investigation is underway after a house was damaged by fire at Quakers Hill this morning. Fire & Rescue NSW and police from Quakers Hills Local Area Command were called to the blaze on Jasmine Avenue shortly after 4.30am (Saturday 25 October 2014). Fire-fighters extinguished the fire and prevented it from spreading to adjacent homes, but the house was extensively damaged. Police have been told the occupants were away at the time, and the house was empty. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined; investigators are now on site.
