An off-topic bit of traveling advice! ;-) After my travels, I tried to get onto my laptop and was horrified to discover that my computer login screen had a different login name on it. I assumed I had been hacked. I also saw a message here on the page from some guy saying contact me about your laptop. I had seen that and assumed it was spam or something weird. But then when I couldnt get into my laptop, I figured it was a hacker whod gotten into my laptop and wanted to ransom it! But I checked FB messages, and it turns out that coming back through the security checkpoint on my way back, this guy and I were going through TSA at the same time, with the SAME exact large 17-inch monitor Dell laptops -- and they got switched (probably by inept TSA agents, because I had all my bins together!) He found me because my full names on the login screen -- and reached out! So we connected, and shipped our laptops back to each other, and they are safely home again 6 days later. You hear this happening with the ubiquitous black suitcases at baggage claim, but laptops at TSA? Especially 17 inchers??? WEIRD! But at least, a happy ending. No nefarious hacking involved! P.S. I will be putting an easily identifiable sticker on the cover of the laptop to avoid this in the future, and my address or phone number on the laptop so its more easily tracked if lost!
