An off topic announcement from Scituate Lighthouse - On Monday July 15th at 7:00 a free concert will be held at the Lawson Tower. Gerald Martindale has been carillonneur of the historic Metropolitan United Church of Toronto since 1997. He holds a Bach. of Musical Arts degree from the Univ. of Windsor and Assoc. Diplomas in Organ from the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto and the Royal Canadian College of Organists. Mr. Martindale teaches carillon, organ and music theory and rings with the Metropolitan United Church Handbell Choir. He has also been a background performer for many movie and television productions. Gerald has made 16 concert tours to the U.S. and 5 tours in Europe. n Tower. Donations in support of Mr. Martindales appearance will be welcome. If you miss out on the tour Sunday, this will be another chance as the Tower will be open prior to the Concert.
