An old friend just approached me with with a killer deal. The kind of deal most people would have a really hard time saying no to. My response was: I cant stay 100% focused if Im not 100% focused. (Then I said to him...ooo...Im going to use that on my wall!) THAT is how focused I am. This is NOT an emotional position Ive adopted, its purely logical. Im in a good place. My life is simple, my business is simple... (yes...even with a cross country move happening in a few days!) ...and if I were to divert a little of my energy to a new opportunity right now, Id be sabotaging my simple (and very productive) business. But what about multiple streams of income?? Glad you axed :) Because I focus on list building and engagement, I have created an asset that is MINE. I own it, I control it. I can promote anything I want really...but Ive learned that by keeping my message consistent, I pick up far more conversions over time than people who promote multiple semi-related and usually competing (on some level) opportunities to their list/audience. Bottom line? I make more money than most, and spend less time and energy. I also get to easily maintain my sanity in the process :) Keep your life and business simple by focusing 100% and being the BEST YOU...in that business. Dont confuse yourself or your audience. Stay put. Focus. Learn to quickly say NO. So what about the worst case scenario? Some would say that Im putting all my eggs in one basket. And on the surface, I understand why it appears that way. But dont forget...Ive got my list/audience constantly growing in the background, and at a moments notice, I can fall back on my list and line up the next most logical opportunity for them...and in a matter of a few days, be back on top!
