An old woman boarded a bus wit me from Calabar going to Lagos. She said to the driver My pickin, if we reach Benin, abeg tell me ooo. The driver agreed. The old woman asked us passengers Abeg, my children, if we reach Benin make una tell me o, incase d driver forget. Everybody agreed, including me. After a long distance, all the passengers slept off, but the old woman didnt blink her eyes. The driver also forgot that the old woman told him something. For hours after they passed Benin, very close to Lagos, the old woman said Abeg o, we never still reach Benin? Everybody shouted at the driver and after a long argument, I told d the driver to take her back to Benin, that we must add something to get fuel back on the bus. On getting to Benin, the driver came down to open the door for the old woman. The old woman opened her bag, brought out a pack of Panadol, picked 2 tablets and drank it, then she said Thank u everybody, na my daughter say if i reach Benin make i take 2 tablet of Panadol. Oya, make we dey go Lagos now. If u are the driver or one of the passengers, what will you do this calabar woman?
