An open letter to the President of the United States... Dear Mr. President: I know this letter will mean absolutely nothing to you, as I am a natural-born, Christian (preacher), elderly veteran of these United States. My wife and I exist on Social Security entitlements (we paid for these small monthly payments) and as such, we only have Medicare as our insurance carrier. That being said, up until two months ago, if I went to a hospital ER with the slightest chest pain, they insisted I stay for a minimum of 24 hours observation. Tonight I went to an ER (still there) with excruciating chest pain as well as numbness in the left side of my face and the doctor refuses to look at anything other than preexisting pneumonia, which has nothing to do with current symptoms. Apparently, under YOUR healthcare program I have reached the disposable age at health care us non-existent for me. I just wanted to let you know how much I, my wife, my 3 children and 5 grandchildren appreciate what you have done to improve our quality of life. You sir, with all due respect, are a joke and a wart on the face of a once great nation. Yours as respectfully as possible, John Thomas Snook.
