An ounce of action is worth a ton of theory In 2014 Africa already imported more than US $40bn worth of food this year, which is an enormous amount. If we are not setting up constructive farming projects with a capital gain, Africa remains a developing continent. Lets stop talking about the problem and help the African continent with knowledge and financial needs to tackle the problems at the base, so that it can be ensured that agriculture production speeds up. More available and affordable products, produced by and intended for the local market are important elements to achieve positive results. This will be the best guarantee of employment, economic growth and poverty reduction in Africa without compromising future generations ability to do the same. Let’s give Africa the chance to break the cycle of being dependent on donations through development aid. Let’s give them our confidence that they are able to feed themselves!
