An update and CALL TO PRAYER from my baby sister. We are so, so close to seeing our sweet miracle baby girls have a chance for survival. We are praying for a miracle. This is Sarahs newest update after the doctor today and finally a way we can help them during this season: Please take a minute to read their story and needs on her GoFundMePage! gofundme/f63sig @SarahChisolmMiller My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness. We received news we were not hoping to hear at our weekly visit. The fluid around Ellens heart has increased. With TTTS, the receiving twin, Ellen, works hard to pump the excess blood she is getting to Maggie. This puts an enormous strain on her heart; leading to fluid build up and a condition called hydrops. With hydrops, the receiving twin eventually goes into cardiac arrest and passes away. If fluid continues to build at this rate, Ellens chances of making it to viability are slim. The only way to help Ellen is to be delivered. The good news: -blood flow through both umbilical cords is still strong and steady -a bladder was once again seen on Maggie -Ellen is weighing in at 1lb and Maggie 12 oz; they are growing! Our doctor continued to encourage us to hope and pray. He said we have made it longer than anyone expected us to. We have seen our prayers answered in so many ways. Please continue to pray for our girls survival, as the next two weeks will determine their future. No matter what may come, Our God is with us. Emmanuel.
